The blood trail of right-wing violence, which recently claimed new victims in Halle and Hanau, goes back far into the history of the Federal Republic of Germany. Nevertheless, for decades right-wing terrorism has been played down and suppressed. The Journalist and author Ulrich Chaussy has made the fight against this silence his mission in life. With Petra Terhoeven, Professor of European Cultural and Contemporary History at the University of Göttingen, Chaussy talks about the forgotten suffering of the survivors and the new findings in his current book “Das Oktoberfest-Attentat und der Doppelmord von Erlangen.
